In fact, WORLD SOURCEONE^® AGM batteries have 2x the cycle life of conventional flooded batteries and also recharge faster providing more accessory power longer.

Can WORLD SOURCEONE^® AGM batteries be recycled like conventional flooded batteries?

WORLD SOURCEONE^® AGM and conventional flooded lead-acid batteries are one of the most recyclable products on the planet. Lead-acid batteries have a higher recycling rate than glass, aluminum, and newspaper. In fact, virtually 100% of every battery component can be recycled to make a brand new battery.

Do the best batteries always have the highest CCA ratings?

No. Optimized power is not always reflected by CCA ratings. AGM batteries deliver power quickly to start the engine. A CCA rating measures cranking over a 30 second period. Cars today start in milliseconds due to improved electrical systems.

Fuel injection, computerized starting controls, and other enhancements allow vehicles to start quickly without the need for extended cranking. Premium batteries should deliver the right balance of life, power, and durability – not just starting power.

Is the WORLD SOURCEONE^® AGM battery and Optima both AGM technology?

Why are there standards in the battery industry?

EN is short for European Norm. The European Norm is an agreement between the countries in Europe to consolidate the specification of standards to enhance the efficiency of commerce. In Europe, EN Standards are gradually being adopted as a more uniform alternative to many different national standards. This EN Standard has been applied to automotive batteries.

Are DIN Standards the same as EN Standards?

DIN stands for the Deutsches Institut für Normung. Recognized by the German Federal Government as Germany's national standards body, DIN has been a member of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) since 1951. While these standards were developed for Germany, many of their automotive standards have been used to develop EN standards but they are not always the same. It is important to remember that EN standards are for all of Europe and not just for one country. It is also important to note that there are some DIN battery part numbers, originally for German manufactured cars, that don’t have a corresponding EN part number.

What are some other pertinent automotive battery standards in other countries?

In Asia, manufacturers conform to the Japanese JIS standard, while the Battery Council International (BCI) maintains the standards and specifications for North American battery manufacturers.

AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) is a high-tech fleece made of fine micro glass fibers binding the battery acid solidly and leak-proof. Under extreme cyclic conditions AGM batteries perform 3-times higher energy throughput compared to conventional starter batteries.

24-Month Nationwide Free Replacement Warranty

If the WORLD SOURCEONE^® battery fails within 24-months from the installation date we will replace it for free anywhere in the US or Canada. (Up to the original purchase price, not including labor). WSO batteries are NOT ProRated and will cost you "the consumer" absolutely nothing (excluding labor and taxes) for replacement during the warranty period.

Roadside Assistance Warranty

REIMBURSABLE SERVICES COVERED UP TO $75:

WORLD SOURCEONE^® Roadside Assistance is available anywhere in the United States and Canada, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In the event your WORLD SOURCEONE battery fails, you must call 888-411-0558 for roadside assistance. This service is provided for two (2) years from the date of installation of your WORLD SOURCEONE^® battery for a jump start or a tow to the nearest place of repair. This service is provided on a reimbursement basis. You are required to pay the service provider at the time service is rendered and submit for reimbursement. See reimbursement procedures on the back of the warranty card. Service must be dispatched through the toll-free number, AND claims must be received within 30 days of the roadside service to be reimbursed.

SERVICES EXCLUDED:

RV’s, fleet vehicles, off-road vehicles or vehicles off the road (winch out), trailers, any vehicles in tow, non-personal vehicles of any type, trucks over one ton capacity, commercial vehicles, or any vehicle, which at the sole determination of the service provider is in such condition that service is likely to result in damage to the vehicle. Theft, vandalism and accident related incidents are not covered. Service may not be available in areas where state/provincial providers are exclusively utilized.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

You must keep the original purchase invoice or a reasonable copy and present it, along with the battery, when seeking a replacement battery under this warranty.

If you are less than 25 miles away from the original place of purchase, you must return the battery to that place of purchase for any warranty service. If you are more than 25 miles from the original place of purchase, then you must call the Warranty Administrator prior to any warranty service being performed, at 1-888-411-0558

The line provides solutions for the discriminating installer who wants to maintain a vehicles original condition with a new unit that fits "exactly" where the OEM battery was installed and meets or exceeds Cold Cranking, Amp Hour and Reserve Capacity ratings.

These features, including exact dimensions, case hold down requirements and proper ventilation fittings are critical for late model Mercedes, BMW and other highline makes and limited access applications.

Some of the WSO hard to find, exact fit applications include true BCI groups; 40R, 47, 48, 49, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94R, 95R and 97R. In addition, the WORLD SOURCEONE^® line includes three Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) batteries where supplied as OEM. Most BMW and Mercedes models, 2003 and later, use an AGM battery, as does the hard to find Mazda Miata Application.

From a construction standpoint, WORLD SOURCEONE^® batteries are manufactured in the US, utilizing a Calcium Lead alloy, enhanced with Silver, positive and negative full framed, highly efficient power path grids.
